Job Description:


The Government of Vanuatu through the Government Remuneration Tribunal received assistance from the 'Governance for Growth' project to fund a Policy Advisor to assist the Tribunal develop a Government Remuneration Policy for the Government of Vanuatu.

The Project will provide for the funding of a Policy Advisor position to assist the Tribunal to complete the policy and important rules and procedures to help the Tribunal with it's work.
    Criteria:
    • Hold a Batchelor or Masters Degree in Human Resource or organizational Development or related field
    • Have knowledge and experience in job evaluation including salary grading and grading rules
    • Have at least 5-10 years experience working on Government/Public Sector Remuneration related issues
    • Have prior experience in drafting and or implementing government policy and operational guidelines within government/public institutions and
    • Have experience in the Pacific/developing countries would be an asset.
    It is expected that the Advisor will be fluent in English language.
