Job Description:

The “GFS Support Officer” will be in charge of implementing new water gravity fed systems for VRCS/FRC project in several communities. The “GFS Support Officer” will also be in charge to adapt and renovate other water systems as well as build with the communities Rain Water Harvesting systems. Criteria: Civil engineering or rural hydraulic Diploma Experience of at least ten years (10 Years) of civil engineering work, especially in design and implementation of construction of water facilities in rural areas Experience in staff management Very good on planning and work organization Ability to work in rural and isolated environment Open-minded, dynamic, flexible, Organized Knowledge of the Vanuatu context  Good computer skills, Word, Excel, Communication, analytical, “Learning by doing “ training skills adapted on rural areas.
