The National Archives of
Vanuatu is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill in the position
of “Finance
Officer”. 
 
Roles & Responsibilities: 
 
Prepare
and maintain budgets forecastManage
cash flow and reconciliationProvide
and analyze monthly/annual financial reportPrepare
payroll, VNPF, and other payments.Manage
assets and inventory register.Manage
staff timesheets.Manage
and prepare end of year audit and assist external auditor with auditCarry
out any other Library or Archives tasks as requested by the Chief
Archivist/Chief Librarian of the National Library & Archives of Vanuatu 
Criteria: 
 
The
applicant should hold a diploma or certificate in Finance, Accounting, Business
Studies or other relevant tertiary qualifications in a recognized institutionStrong
level of MYOB skillsA
minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in financial management, auditing, budgeting,
MYOB accounting is envisaged.Proficiency
in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access)Prioritizing/time
management/meeting datelinesThe
suitable person must have fair knowledge and understanding of the National
Library & National ArchivesExcellent
working knowledge of English and fair knowledge of French language would be an
advantage.Ability
to work as part of the National Library & Archives team.The
suitable candidate must be able to work under very minimal supervision and work
under pressure.Only
