Job Description:
In this position you will:
  • Maintain and develop client relationships (medium/large business) in a multicultural society to sustain profitability by providing superior customer service, maintaining a detailed understanding of client business and financial services needs, developing and actively seeking referrals and developing new client prospects.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage small/medium business credit risk by actively identifying and assessing all risk inherent in credit exposures, ensuring data integrity of accounts and ensuring compliance with Group credit and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure early identification of problem accounts, maximization of recovery of bad/doubtful debts by being directly involved/supervising/guiding subordinates in asset management techniques.
  • Plan, manage and execute  strategy to achieve profit and quality of service superior to competitors in conjunction with Director of Emerging Corporate & International Banking.
  • Manage the ongoing performance of staff through the provision of coaching, feedback and guidance.
  • Ensure the sharing of "best practice" by embracing and supporting change and gaining the commitment of staff through involvement. Identify potential process/service enhancements and escalate as appropriate.
  • Assist Direct of Emerging Corporate and International Banking with the strategic direction and management of the department.

Criteria: 
  • We seek an experienced business banker, with a proven tract record, and the drive to succeed.
  • You are preferably tertiary qualified and/or have a minimum of three years experience n an equivalent role in a large commercial bank or similar enterprise. 
  • You will also have a sound knowledge o Banking procedures, products and services and experience in management of high risk accounts. The ability to speak fluently in Bislama, French and Mandarin would be an advantage.
