| | Seeking an experienced consultant to undertake a final evaluation of the Pacific Climate Change Risk Reduction Program. The program integrating community based adaptation (CBA) into CBDRM and has worked directly with 9 communities in Vanuatu and 11 communities in Tonga to review community disaster preparedness to develop and implement initiatives to improve resilience to |
| | the unavoidable impacts of climate change. The overall goal of the project was to: Strengthen the resilience of communities in Tonga and Vanuatu to the impacts of climate change. |
| | Criteria: |
| | • Expertise in community based climate change adaptation/DRR/resilience programs |
| | • Experience using mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) approaches to evaluation |
| | • Strong commitment to participatory and learning focused evaluation and knowledge/use of participatory tools |
| | • Knowledge of the Pacific context and the unique challenges of small island developing states |

| | • High level analytical skills, including experience in applying conceptual frameworks of analysis " |
