| | Applications are invited for two(2) full-time positions of: |
| | |
| | 1. North Efate Cricket Development Officer |
| | 2. Tanna Cricket Development Officer |
| | |
| | within the Outreach Program of the Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA). This program is funded by the Australian Government through its Sports Outreach Program. |
| | Ideally the successful candidates will be based in North Efate and Tanna. The VCA is looking for self-motivated individuals who can fulfill the below key responsibilities and attributes: |
| | 1. Administration of the Outreach Program in North Efate (including offshore islands) and Tanna |
| | 2. Regularly contact schools and teachers to assist them in running the Outreach Program |
| | 3. Assist with producing additional coaching resources for teachers |
| | 4. Work with the VCA to improve the Outreach Program |
| | 5. Assist with data and statistics input onto a database |
| | 6. Submit regular updates to the VCA office |
| | 7. Identify junior talent and submit to the VCA |
| | 8. Carry out promotion activities with/for VCA sponsors |
| | 9. Promote the VCA in a positive manner at all opportunities |
| | 10. Other duties as required by the VCA General Manager and Board |

| | - Committed to working with and helping children |
| | - Willing to work towards becoming a Level 0 and then Level 1 cricket coach |
| | - Conscientious, honest and hard working |
| | - Self-motivated |
| | - Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills |
| | - Prepared to be a role model for young children |
| | - Understanding of the game of cricket (non-essential) |
