| | The National Bank of Vanuatu is seeking to recruit a Training and Development Officer to join its Human Resources team in Port Vila. This is a position located at the Head office in Port Vila. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources |
| | 2) Responsible for developing and implementing the bank's annual training and development plan, consult with managers to identify training need, develop and review in-house training modules and deliver training required from time to time, while at the same time working with external training providers for further staff training. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Over 5 years experience in banking particularly business training and development or a similar role; He/she must demonstrate excellent training, leadership, and analytical skills in current or |
| | previous roles to be considered; Must demonstrate a track record of past success in identifying training and development needs within an organization's and individual's needs, develop effective |
| | induction programmes, monitor and evaluate trainings delivered and assist managers and individuals develop specific training programs; Have at least 5 years experience in a training and |
| | development role or similar; Posses some qualifications in human resource and training or a related field; Proficiency in communication skills analysis |
| | - Excellent interpersonal skills; Possess excellent communication and report writing skills; Possess very good problem solving skills. |
