| | The Vanuatu National Statistics Office and partners (The south pacific community & the world bank) will be conducting a survey consisting of various topics for a period of 1 year. Its main focus basically is to understand the living conditions of the people of Vanuatu. It will be very much interested in determining poverty related issues and many other |
| | indicators that can be of good use to policy and decision makers. Only successful applicants will be conducted. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Supervising field work (data collection) in Port Vila and Shefa rural |
| | 2) Supervising enumerators during enumeration |
| | 3) Checking all questionnaire forms during enumeration and data entry |
| | 4) Conducting data entry of all questionnaires |
| | 5) Perform any other task required to do. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Year 12 certificate leaver; Must be computer literate (at least knows MS word and MS excel application; Leadership qualities; Data entry skills a plus; Fluent in english or french and bislama; |
| | Experience in field-supervision for at least 2 years |
| | - Experience in data entry; Experience in survey/census; Able to meet datelines; Team player; Reporting skills; Communication skills; Presentation skills (oral and written); Excellent speaker. |
