BildBeta is a Vanuatu-based engineering consultancy specializing in structural design, construction supervision, and resilient infrastructure. Founded in 2021, the firm provides technical services to both public and private clients, with projects spanning school rehabilitation, housing resilience, water & sanitation and post-disaster reconstruction. BildBeta combines local field experience with international engineering standards to deliver practical, safe, and high-quality solutions adapted to Pacific environments.
Job Desctiption:
BildBeta is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and motivated Engineers to support the implementation of its upcoming Water and Sanitation projects.
The selected engineer will work closely with the BildBeta technical team to support activities such as:
• Planning, monitoring, and reporting on project activities in the water and sanitation sector;
• Conducting technical assessments of water supply and wastewater systems;
• Supporting the design and documentation of water and wastewater infrastructure systems;
• Contributing to construction supervision and quality assurance;
• Collaborating with the structural engineering team on integrated infrastructure designs.
Selection Criteria:
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering, or a related field;
• Familiarity with project planning, monitoring, and design standards;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment;
• Commitment to professional integrity and high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
• Exposure to previous water supply and/or sanitation engineering projects during study or work experience is preferred;
• Experience in construction supervision and site management is an advantage.
