Organisation Description:
Based in Luganville, Santo. This is a 7 day a week business operating around tight shipping schedules, slipway requirements and engineering services.
Job Desctiption:
Operations Manager reponsible for slipway management and engineering services.
Selection Criteria:
- At least 5 years previous experience in management.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Optimize resources and monitor KPI
- Lead, mentor and motivate teams to achieve set outcomes and foster a positive work environment.
- Have knowledge of installation and construction of heavy and light steel structures including lay-out, cutting, fit-up, fabricate;
- Manufacturing of a range of engineering products, gates, trailers, agricultural equipment etc
- Ability to operate lathes and milling machines;
- Current welding certificate required;
- After hours and weekend work required (Saturdays and Sundays)
