Travellers Budget Motel is a well established 10 room motel that has been providing affordable accommodation to guests since 2006. Now under new ownership and management Travellers Budget Motel is seeking enthusiastic staff to start work mid June 2024. We are looking for honest, reliable and dedicated people to assist the Travellers Budget Motel achieve its full potential.
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for 2 energetic, versatile and experienced people to join our team as Receptionists. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests and associated administration tasks. The Travellers motel requires significant cleaning, maintenance, organisation and upgrading to bring it up to standard so that guests are given a quality experience. The Receptionists will be expected to participate in this process.
Selection Criteria:
Able to start working mid June 2024
High level of written and oral English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer/internet software used for hotel operations
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of basic administrative tasks including eftpos, cash handling, filing and data entry
Skills to provide a warm welcome and assist guests with enquiries and concerns
Problem-solving abilities to handle guest complaints or issues with patience and diplomacy
Attention to detail to accurately process reservations, payments, and guest information
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner
Adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in guest needs with grace
Multitasking skills to manage phone calls, check-ins, check-outs, and other tasks
Knowledge of local attractions, dining and transport to assist guests
Able to work without supervision
Honest, reliable, enthusiastic and a team player
Able to work weekends, public holidays and evenings
Able to commit to ongoing employment
