Organisation Description:
ACOM Vanuatu is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person for  the Position of Trust Officer to be based at Loganville Santo, Vanuatu. This is  a senior position which demands a good standing of management and efficient  administration and operations of ACOM Trust Vanuatu.
  This role looks after the effective and effective management and administration  of lands and properties of ACOM Trust Vanuatu
  
Job Desctiption:
The position will be responsible to the General Secretary through the SOO and  would undertake the roles and responsibilities as outlined below;
  1.	To be Secretary to the Church of Melanesia (Vanuatu) Trust Board and to carry  out the functions of the Trust Board
  2.	To arrange and organize meetings of the Trust Board and to liaise with  Chairman of Committees set up by the Trust Board on all matters related to the  functions of the Trust
  3.	To manage the properties of the ACOM (Vanuatu) Trust Board in the two  Dioceses
  4.	To provide administrative support services to COM Holdings Limited and the  Committee established by the Trust Board
  5.	To establish and maintain an efficient land administration registry for all  COM (Vanuatu) Trust Board lands within Vanuatu
  6.	To liaise with the Ministry of Lands and other appropriate Government Bodies  and Authorities on all matters relating to Trust Board Land and Properties.
  7.	To update at all times and maintain the Trust Board Land Registry
  8.	To be responsible and to facilitate the process of acquisition and  registration of land of the Trust Board from customary landowners, individuals  and Government
  9.	To liaise with Diocesan staff on all land matters
  10.	To provide an annual budget for all land rate and property taxes
  11.	To provide a schedule of land rents/ rates and submit to Finance Clerk 
  12.	To organize land surveying, valuation and demarcation
  13.	To organize the building Project Committee Meetings
  14.	Other duties as may be required from time to time by the Provincial  Administration Manager
  15.	To be counterpart to the Finance and Business Consultant and to work closely  with Provincial Liaison with Government Ministries on behalf of Dioceses and  Church
  
Selection Criteria:
The candidate we are looking for must have a good compliment of the following  backgrounds:
  •	A relevant qualification in Diploma in Business or related discipline with  at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. 
  •	Highly self-motivated with effective management and administration skills in  property and land management, including minute taking, meeting organisation and  preparation of meeting packs.
  •	Proven experience of working in a busy, multifunctional role.  
  •	Very well organised, efficient and detail conscious. 
  •	Able to maintain confidentiality. 
  •	Effective oral, written and listening skills. 
  •	Be able to respond to call to attend to work outside of normal working  hours,
