Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the VNPF Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working life and into retirement.
Job Desctiption:
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator to join the Fund.
Reporting to Team Leader Information and Communication responsible for the Information Communication and Technology (ICT), the position will focus on maintaining, upgrading and manage the ICT network and hardware to ensure efficiency of the ICT infrastructure runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Systematise, Install, and support VNPF local area networks (LANs), Wide area networks (WANs) network segments, intranets and other data communication systems
• Reviews regularly network structure and recommends innovations whenever necessary
• Should Posses Information security Skills
• Commitment to keep learning
• Problem Solving skills
• Self-motivates
• Knowledge of phone systems
Selection Criteria:
Requirements:
• 5 years' work experience as a senior network administrator or similar role in Information Communication Technology department
• Bachelor Degree in Computing Science or similar field
• Good Problem solving and communication skills
• Computer literate, have analytical, and Positive attitude and a team player
• Must be confident and able to work under pressure
• Demonstrates high ethical standards of behaviour
• Passion for excellence and potential to develop further
