Vanuatu Agricultural Supplies (VAS) are a family-owned business, specialising in agricultural, water supply and garden products since 1983.
Job Desctiption:
The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the retail shop floor. This includes the supervision and on-going training of approximately 20 sales and customer service staff. Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Performance of retail sales from the shop floor
• Supervision of sales staff, including rostering, attendance and staff performance management, and maintaining a high level of customer service standards
• Shop presentation, including visual merchandising/display of goods, ensuring stocks are maintained
• Stock control, including compliance with stock control processes and paperwork
Selection Criteria:
• Have a minimum of two (2) years retail sales experience
• Have knowledge of stock control processes
• Be computer literate
• Be fluent in Bislama and either English or French
• Must have a valid driver's licence
Salary:
Salary package will be based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
