| The Organisation | ||
| Scope Global manages programs and projects in the international development and international education sectors. Scope Global oversees the Australian Volunteer (AVID) program for Australian Aid in Vanuatu. | ||
| The Position | ||
| The role of Program Manager will involve promoting the AVID program, managing the volunteers including visa processing and their in-country orientation on arrival, supervising their security and wellbeing while in-country, monitoring and supporting volunteers throughout their assignment, assisting host organisations with the development of assignments and preparations for the arrival of a volunteer, and monitoring the progress of volunteers towards achieving their work plan objectives while with the host organisation. | ||
| Essential Selection Criteria | ||
| ► Excellent communication and inter-personal skills | ||
| ► 5 years essential experience in a senior role handling multiple responsibilities | ||
| ► Team player and able to work collaboratively with others | ||
| ► Pro-active in problem solving / solutions based approach to dealing with issues | ||
| ► Ability to speak and write in both English and Bislama | ||
| ► Ability to think strategically | ||
| Desirable Selection Criteria | ||
| ► Experience working with overseas volunteers | ||
| ► Drivers Licence | ||
