| | Applications are invited for the entry level position of Reservations Officer, within out Reservations Department at Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited in Port Vila, Vanuatu. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | Contribute to the generation of revenue and to serve customer at the point of sale by providing a high quality fast, efficient and friendly customer service for reservations, fares and telephone sales queries. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Completed tertiary education in the fields of tourism, marketing, statistics or business; Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work |
| | well under pressure and meet deadlines; Be able to work well under pressure & handle demanding activities and deadlines |
| | - Able to juggle a number of various tasks in a given moment; Tri-lingual speaker essential in french, english and bislama; Must have a pleasant, professional telephone manner and be a patient and |
| | sympathetic listener; Ability to work weekends, public holidays and overtime |
| | - Excellent PC skills; Willingness to be trained and to accept additional responsibilities; Must be able to provide police clearance and a medical report declaring fit for all duties. |
