Typical tasks may include but are not limited to:
Work in a range of different settings, but most jobs will include duties such as taking measurements, drawing up plans for proposed works, sourcing materials, preparing estimates and undertaking site visits. Mostly do a variety of different jobs, but some of your duties might include:
• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames and for both Natangura and Cappa, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals when authorized by the project Manager
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code
Selection Criteria:
A successful Carpenter candidate will need a combination of qualifications and practical experience including:
• An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry
• Creativity and design skills
• Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
• Joinery or cabinet-making skills
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to

Drivers License and Good driving role model for the staff and other drivers.
Good command of English, Understanding and use of Microsoft Word, XL (spreadsheets), Emails.
Good time-keeping - essential to be on time or ahead of time every morning to make sure drivers are on the road at or as near as possible to starting time.
Coordinate deliveries into and out of FR8 premises on both Wharf Road and at Nambatri. Monitor and caution drivers on excess speed (using Geocal App). Make sure tarpaulins and ropes are on all vehicles all the time.
To effectively and efficiently coordinate vehicles, drivers and staff (both casual and permanent) to arrange pick up and delivery of shipments, documentation, and house pack and unpack.
To ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and looked after to roadworthy standards. Bring to the GM attention anything which might be deficient, problems which help is needed with to solve and to work well with the team and clients so all are as happy with the services as it is possible to be.
There are other things to coordinate as well such as banking.
