The Organisation

CrossFit FMTG is a licensed CrossFit Affiliate based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. We operate out of Ultimate Fitness, providing CrossFit classes for kids, pre-teens and teens and also provide on-ramp coursing (introductory) and adult classes for all abilities.

The Position

The CrossFit Trainer will be responsible for leading, instructing, and motivating individuals and groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, gymnastics movements, strength training, and stretching. There is a requirement to work with people of all ages and skill levels in the conduct of these activities.

Specific Duties will include planning individual and group CrossFit classes for adolescents and adults with international programming support, setup of CrossFit sessions, conducting general and specific warm-ups, and demonstrating how to conduct various exercises and routines.

The CrossFit Trainer will also assist in developing training and coaching skills in other Assistant Trainers.

Essential Selection Criteria

► CrossFit Level 1 Certification

► CrossFit Kids Certification

Desirable Selection Criteria

► Valid certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) issued by recognised training institution

► Certificate Level III Group Fitness Certification (not required for initial employment)

► Certificate Level 4 - Personal Training

► Strength and Conditioning Level certification

Selection Criteria:

 Planning, organizing and priority management.
