Job Description
BUGGY DRIVER:
To ensure your buggy is clean before starting duty. Check the buggy at regular intervals for cleanliness whilst on duty.
As guest approaches, stands with proper body posture next to the club car and greets guest with a smile.
While driving, friendly and polite conversation may be engaged.
Buggies should not be driven fast, should be driven smoothly, taking special care of the guest’s comfort, stability and security.
It is compulsory when embarking and disembarking guests, to step out and check before going.
Stick to your route as assigned at the start of your shift. The only exception for door to door pick up and drop off is for special buggy priority guests which are define as per management only.
Club cars are not left long unattended in front of the hotel, or in any other guest area.
Mobile phones shall not be used while driving, unless for professional use. Cautiously bring the club car to halt before answering the phone.
Buggy drivers are not allowed to drive the guest through back of house area.
For your safety, buggy drivers are not allowed to overload the buggy. Safety policy – one seat can be occupied by two clients maximum

Selection Criteria
Must be able to communicate in English & French
Effective communication skills and pleasant personality are a must.
Energetic, flexible and can handle pressure.
Be fully conversant with all health and safety procedures will be a plus
Expected to regularly work long hours, on evenings, on week-ends, public holidays and during cyclonic weather

Job Description
To ensure welcome guest , check all revenues transactions raised by outlets and Front office are audited and posted to the guest ledger, meeting required deadlines to enable the reset the Opera system is on time to begin a new day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Audit all Revenue transactions for accuracy and ensure the Opera System and Cash Register trails match.
Audit all Revenue transactions for techniques and methods used to meet our standards and Company Policies & Procedure.
Ensures all revenue transactions recorded and consistent and carried out according to our standard procedures.
Checks all revenue transactions raised in the hotel to the guest ledger (to the relevant room number or account) where applicable and confirm that the outlets totals tally all charge and cash records in an outlets to outlets basis, ensuring back-ups are available.
Check all room rates posted are correct and backed up with the necessary documentation in relation to various hotel rates, including complimentary and house use.
Check the authenticity of all Front Office and outlets paid outs, rebates, discounts and adjustments are verifies and correct and carried out with accordance to local policies and procedures.
Ensures all City ledgers related transactions are tallied with Opera totals and transferred on a daily basis with all necessary back-ups intact.
Check all foreign exchange transactions in outlets and Front Office are carried out according to local policies and procedures.
Check late departures and room revenue posted through Misc. charges are monitored according to Companys policies and procedures.
Selection Criteria
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

To handle all guest queries in a professional manner.
Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
Strong analytical skills.
Should be conversant with: Opera, Micros and Microsoft office applications.
