Job Desctiption:
Concreting Tasks
• Site set-out and preparation
• Formwork installation
• Installation of steel reinforcement
• Concrete placement and finishing
Shed & Steel Structure Installation
• Erection of sheds and steel awning structures
• Installation of flashings, roof and wall sheets
• Gutter and downpipe (DP) installation
Carpentry & Fit-Out Work
• Construction of internal walls and ceilings
• Hanging doors and installing windows
• General fit-out carpentry tasks
Plumbing Works
• Working with poly and galvanised pipes and fittings for general water and fire services
• Drainage and sewage installations
• Rough-in and fit-off of plumbing systems
• Installation and maintenance of water supply and fire service infrastructure
• Experience in roofing and plumbing is highly regarded
Masonry Works
• Brick and block work installation
• Accurate set-out of masonry structures
• Core filling and installation of steel reinforcement
• Mixing and setting mortar for masonry applications
• Ensuring structural integrity and quality finish in all masonry tasks
Selection Criteria:
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in one or more of the above trades
• Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work in Luganville, Santo
• Experience in roofing, plumbing, and masonry will be considered an advantage
