Job Desctiption:
As the Café Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth  running of the café, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and  driving the business forward. You will be responsible for managing a team of two  employees focused on food and beverage services, in addition to handling  administrative and operational tasks to ensure the café continues to thrive.
  
Selection Criteria:
- Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring efficiency, quality,  and service standards are consistently met.
  - Manage and schedule shifts for two employees, ensuring the café is adequately  staffed to handle customer volume.
  - Train and develop the team on café procedures, customer service standards,  and food and beverage preparation techniques.
  - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed, while  managing budget and cost controls.
  - Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming café environment for both employees and  customers.
  - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and  in a manner that maintains the café's reputation.
  - Develop and implement strategies to increase customer base, improve customer  experience, and boost café sales.
  - Collaborate with the café owner on menu development, marketing initiatives,  and any special events.
  - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene  standards.
  - Be a qualified Barista

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or retail industry, preferably in a café or similar establishment. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace. - Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and health and safety regulations. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. - A passion for coffee and food, with a desire to continually learn and grow within the café industry. - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
