Job Desctiption:
Exciting business growth has created an opportunity for an experienced and  talented Financial Controller to support the General Manager in managing all  aspects of the day-to-day finance operations of the business
  
  The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations, including  forecasting and budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting. Our  ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be able to work in an high  performance, fast-paced, and dynamic environment whist managing a small  professional team.
  
  Key responsibilities:
  
  Develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth and ongoing  success of the company
  Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and meaningful financial reports
  Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement to  drive efficiencies and profitability 
  Manage the FX requirementns of the business and ensure gains
  Run the EOFY external audit
  Provide leadership, guide & train the finance team
  Oversee the company's accounting and financial operations, including  accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and VAT
  Ensure the company follows all financial compliance regulations and reporting  requirements.
  Establish and maintain relationships with banks, and other key stakeholders
  Manage the company's financial risk and insurance programs
  Make recommendations on improvements to inventory management, pricing & GPs,   and distribution processes
  
Selection Criteria:
Chartered Accountant preferred, or relevant experience 
  Experience in a similar role a must, FMCG experience preferred 
  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and forecasting
  Experience with financial systems and XERO 
  A communicative and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, both  externally and internally
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic  environment
  Acute attention to detail and accuracy
  Strong leadership skills with capability to manage staff work performance
  Current National Police clearance
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience
