A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the Finance team of CW Vanuatu.This role has a good breadth of responsibilities including financial &
management accounting as well as exposure to commercial matters, you will help provide information that will guide decision making.
Duties & responsibilities
The Finance Manager Position is a key resource in the day to day running of the business including:
• Preparation of nancial reports, and management reports
• Review / Prepare GL reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare special nancial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account
information and trends when required
• Statutory accounting requirements including preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Prepare / review product costing and product pricing
• Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and training for new tasks
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Undertake all responsibilities to ensure smooth run of the nance department
Selection Criteria:
• Fully qualied Bachelor's degree in nance / CIMA / CA / CPA / ACCA
• Excellent knowledge in Accounting Principles & Financial Reporting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent analytical skills
• Prociency in MS Excel and Word
• High level of commitment and self-motivated
• Excellent team leader who is exible and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in QuickBooks will be considered as an added advantage
