1 x HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC/ ELECTRICIAN
Selection Criteria:
The position requires a self motivated person possessing the following skills and qualifications:
. 10 years experience as a heavy equipment electrician
. Must be able to work odd hours, under pressure, efficient and trustworthy
. Read and interpret drawing and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment components
. Estimate electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current voltage and resistance
. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generator, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and devices
. Conduct preventing maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
. Experience in a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) would be a distinct advantage.
