Peace corps Vanuatu is an American Government agency. It is a volunteer organization. All volunteers are Americans serving in our rural communities in schools, clinics and health centers to help the people in the communities meet their needs.
Job Desctiption:
1) The Medical Assistant will work as a member of the Medical Unit supporting the entire Peace Corps Vanuatu Program;
2) The Community Health Program Manager will work as a member of the Programming & Training Unit supporting the entire Peace Corps Vanuatu Program;
3) The Training Manager will work as a member of the Programming & Training Unit supporting the entire Peace Corps Vanuatu Program
Selection Criteria:
Qualification:
1) THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT -
(i). University Diploma in Nursing School; (ii) Valid Vanuatu Nursing Council Registration;
(iii) A minimum of 3 years' experience in Nursing role;
(iv) Demonstrated English proficiency, both written and oral;
(v) Valid Driver's license with Common and Motor Vehicle designations.
2) COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER -
(i) University degree in public health, epidemiology, social behavioral sciences,
international or community development, or a related field;
(ii) A minimum of five years of experience as an adult educator, community outreach
worker, social mobilization officer, and/or development specialist;
(iii) Demonstrated English proficiency, both written and oral;
(iv) 5 years of experience in or supporting the Ni Vanuatu national health systems;
(v) Valid Driver's license with Common and Motor Vehicle designations
3) TRAINING MANAGER -
(i) University degree in project management, community development or field related to
project;
(ii) At least 5 years of experience in adult education/training design and evaluation;
(iii) At least one year experience in a supervisory role;
(iv) Demonstrated English proficiency, both written and oral;
(v) Valid Driver's license with Common and Motor Vehicle designations
