Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working life and into retirement.
Job Desctiption:
We are currently advertising the position for a Clerk of Works Officer to join the Fund.
Reporting to the Team Leader Properties, the position will ensure all fund properties are in compliance with internal policies, relevant contracts and agreements and all legal and regulatory requirements in accordance with the VNPF act and other internal and external regulatory governance requirements.
Key outcomes:
• Assist in overall inspections on construction, operations, and maintenance activities
• Reporting all checks carried out.
• Assist Team Leader Property and Civil Engineer to ensure that all inspections and checks on construction, operation and maintenance activities are done in compliance with internal policies, Investment Frame Work and VNPF Act.
Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.

• Able to analyse quality or performance
• Write and understand English, French and Bislama
• Understand of working environment and the Fund's mandate, including its strategic vision and goals.
We are requesting applicants with a Bachelor Degree in Construction and Engineering or other related disciplines relevant to position, with 3-5 years working experience in Engineering and Construction or proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control and regulatory approvals etc.
