| The Organisation |
| Vanuatu Skills Partnership (TVET) is a collaboration between the Governments of Vanuatu and Australia to support sustainable economic through targeted business development and training services within a national quality system. The Partnership operates within existing structures and works with local training providers and industry coaches to deliver training services focused on income-generation and business development outcomes within a nationally recognised framework. |
| The Position |
| The Partnership is now seeking proposals from specialists to join its Industry Coaches and Trainers in its Skills for Tourism sub-program for the development and delivery of an E-Tourism Marketing Masterclass for local tourism operators. Objectives of this masterclass will include: 1. Supporting local tourism operators to address the growing technology and skills gap in online tourism marketing; 2. Build capacity within local tourism operators to independently manage their online communications, marketing content, reservation systems and online reputation. |
| Essential Selection Criteria |
| ► Recognised tertiary qualifications in the Tourism, Communications and/or Marketing |
| ► Proven experience in the Tourism, Communications and/or Marketing private sector |
| ► Proven experience in the planning and delivery of training, skill development or workshop facilitation in Vanuatu context |
| ► Competency in the use of MS Office Suite, email, social media, website content management |
| ► Have team members who speak Bislama and willing to travel to the outer islands of Vanuatu. |
| Desirable Selection Criteria |
| ► Recognised Certificate IV in Training & Assessment |
| ► Knowledge of the outer island tourism sector in Vanuatu |
