Industry: Non Government Organization Location:  Port Vila, Vanuatu Job Hours: 3 month contract with possible extension Due Date: 20-Jan-2016 Job Description: *The position has been upgraded to a Coordinator Position. Youth Challenge Vanuatu is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to undertake the following position mentioned. This position will work to support, mentor and train members of the youth centre to increase young people's access to employment and education opportunities and to build confidence to apply for and take up employment, livelihood opportunities.

Criteria: Essential: Secondary School Diploma Experience training and working with youth Ability to manage program budget and ensure financial procedures and policies are followed Abililty to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including international agencies, training institutions and national and international youth volunteers Understanding of principles of youth empowerment and skills development Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills Proficiency in the use of Ms Word and Excel software Able to communicate in English and Bislama. French would be an advantage. Desirable: Previous experience in working in livelihood and leadership programs Ability to apply program monitoring and learning to the development of narrative reports and program plans.
