Telecom Vanuatu Limited (TVL) is seeking to recruit a competent personnel for its technical department in
Port Vila
Missions
- To
ensure highest quality of service being deliver to the valuable customers on
TVL GSM, UMTS,
- HSPA,
and WIMAX on a day to day basis.
- Must
be able to Pro-actively monitor TVL network faults and quality degradation and
action accordingly.
Activities:
- Must
monitor and report all alarm on 2G, 2.5G.3G, HSPA, WIMAX alarms which could
lead to
- service
outage and degradation of quality of service.
- Must
closely follow-up and for urgently closure. Thus operate with minimal/no Outage
& QoS degradation
- Must
be able to update an hourly report, to TVL management, on the whole network
status
- (outage,
performance issues, complaint status, and related action plans)
- Provide
remote support to onsite field operation team on O&M tool
- Complaint
management. Do the first level checks for internal and external complaints and update
accordingly
- Must
be able to properly manage the Site Caretaker
- Assist
on incident and change management
- Assist
Planning and Engineering team on Fault and performance managements activities
- Other
activities defined by the direct superior in order to fulfil all position’s
requirements.
Criteria:
Knowledge
- Certificate
on Telecommunication engineering or equivalent
- At
least one year of professional in Telecommunication field
- Good
knowledge on GSM, UMTS, WIMAX, Microwave equipment and O&M tool.
Skills
- Fluent
English/ French and Bislama
- Good
writing and verbal skills
