The
Vanuatu Financial Services Commission wishes to recruit a Financial Controller for its Corporate Services and Human Resources
Department.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The
Financial controller will have the responsibility for coordinating and collating
financial information and reporting to the Deputy Commissioner on all aspects
of financial management, reporting and compliance functions and other
obligations of the commission, including performing the following specific
functions and responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly
financial reports for senior management and quarterly financial reports for the
board.
- Coordinate and preparation the
commission’s annual budget and annual financial statements for board approval.
- Coordinate the audit of the
commission’s accounts with the auditors.
- Manage all accounting /finance
operations, including banking relationships, payroll and investment of the
commission
- Implement financial management
policies and procedures and develops tools and systems for ensuring compliance
with overall policies including administrative policies and procedures; and
- Maintain the Commission’s Asset
register.
