| | 1. The Department of Energy within the Ministry of Climate Change and Natural Diaster is now seeking for a consultant to under take the services of a Financial Specialist to manage the budget and financial reporting requirements of the Energy Sector Development Project and other World Bank (WB) energy projects. |

| | 2. The consultant assignment is for 10 months and commencing in August 2014-June 2015. He/She shall report directly to the Director of Energy. |

| | The Consultant shall have the following qualifications: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - At least 5 years experience in position with similar responsibilities. |
| | - Minimum Diploma Degree in Information Technology and/or communication or any other related field. |
| | - Fluent in Bislama and English, with French an Advantage. |
| | - At least 2 years of experience in dealing with government, private sector and Non-Government Organisations and communication, in energy or similar sectors would be an asset. |
| | - Cultural Sensitivity and the ability to communicate and work with diverse range of people. |
| | - Competent in the use of MS Office tools including word, Powerpoint, Publisher or illustrator. |
