| | The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is seeking to recruit a Ni-Vanuatu to the position of E-Marketing Officer within its Marketing division. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Will work closely and assist the website/E-marketing officer with overall maintenance and management of VTO website content |
| | 2) Ongoing maintenance and management of VTO tourist, website content and VTO corprate website including the adding and modifying of information, and site accuracy |
| | 3) Ensure new products /listing meet the criteria to be promoted on the website |
| | 4) Development and distributing of weekly island nius e-newsletter and monthly tribal drum e-newsletter to VTO contacts database, ensuring accuracy and newsworhtiness of stories published |
| | 5) Development and distribution of web marketing kit to assist industry with new Vanuatu brand imagery and logo usage on websites |
| | 6) Recording of online visitation statistics to the VTO tourist website, French consumer site and VTO corporate website |
| | 7) Management of VTO image library and image requests. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Dedicated person who can perform under pressure with limited supervision and can complete assigned jobs on a timely manner; Have three years experience in at least one of the key fields of |
| | web/social media & marketing especially in the tourism sector |
| | - Be computer literate and fluent in using microsoft programs, email, internet and other related programs |
| | - Possess strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to make public presentations and to represent VTO with major stakeholders |
| | - Be fluent in English language, the language of our major tourist market. A working knowledge of French language also is an added advantage |
| | - Possess a formal qualification in tourism marketing, research or any related field. |
