| | UNELCO VANUATU LTD seeks a Works Foreman for its water division. |
| | The successful applicant (male or female) will be responsible for the following: |
| | 1) Managing work relating to the operation of a public water supply concession, which includes a production plant (plumbing/chlorination/backflow), storage facilities (tank) and a network of pipes and other water supply components |
| | 2) Planning, coordinating and supervising the carrying out of such work taking into account the quality and timeframe requirements, depending on the human and technical resources and the subcontractors provided to him/her |
| | 3) Liaising with the different internal departments of the company, the customers, the government authorities, the local authorities and the subcontractors. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Understand the operating principles of a public drinking water supply system |
| | - Have or be capable of aquiring knowledge of the equipment specific to such a system |
| | - Have the necessary skills and abilities required for the management of work sites and therefore, the management and support of teams |
| | - Enforce the existing rules and standards of the company and those relating to food hygiene and security |
| | - Be able to write in French and English and speak Bislama, use word and excel, and ideally a MIS; Having a driving licence. |
