| | Are you looking for an opportunity to join the team at youth challenge vanuatu in providing business, career, employment and leadership training and services for youth? Youth challenge vanuatu is looking to fill the full time position of cleaner/messenger beginning September 20th, 2010. Entry-level position, YCV is willing to train and support the right person. Duties |
| | and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Handle all in person and telephone reception duties |
| | 2) Supervise the YCV library, sign out and maintain books |
| | 3) Purchase, organize and supervise all YCV stationary, materials and cleaning supplies |
| | 4) Ensure that the YCV center is kept clean and tidy at all times (empty garbage daily, clean bathrooms, sweep & mop floors, keep kitchen clean) |
| | 5) Assist the YCV team with administrative tasks and activities for youth |
| | 6) Fill in to supervise the YCV computer lab for the youth services manager when necessary. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Passionate about youth work; Enthusiastic, willing to learn; Dependable, reliable and sincere about helping others; Computer skills; Good verbal and written language skills in bislama and english; Good |
| | communication and social skills; Ability to work and interact with a variety of people (i.e. government officials, youth, funding agencies, etc…) |
| | - Good team worker, but still comfortable and able to work independently. |
