The duration of this position is 12 months from August 2010 to August 2011 with possible extension for a |

| | 1) Providing advice and management support to the director general, ministry of infrastructure and public utilities (MIPU) in order to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of infrastructure services in vanuatu. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Have at least 5 years in project management experience, preferably in a public sector infrastructure management environment, ideally within the transport sector; Desirably have previous experience in the |
| | design and implementation of institutional reform programs; Have completed a first degree in management, economics, engineering or equivalent relevant qualification; Must have strong organisational skills |
| | - Must he computer literate in microsoft office applications; Must be able to work within a term environment; Experience in supervision of staff |
| | Report writing skills; Ability to work long hours as required by the position. |

| | The infrastructure corporate policy adviser will receive an attractive remuneration package commensurate with seniority and experience and be contracted to PWD. |
